Spreads are each broker's typical EUR/USD spread on its standard account and change with account type and market conditions. Raw-spread (ECN) accounts usually add a commission per lot on top. Spread cost per standard lot = spread in pips x $10 (the value of one pip on 100,000 EUR/USD). Always check the live spread on your broker's platform before trading.
How to read this table
The spread is the gap between the buy and sell price, and it is the main cost of most forex trades. A 1.0 pip spread on EUR/USD costs $10 every time you open one standard lot, $1 on a mini lot and $0.10 on a micro lot. If you place 20 standard-lot trades a month, the difference between a 0.2 and a 1.2 pip spread is about $200.
Spread is not the full cost
Low spreads often come with a commission, and overnight positions pay or earn swap. Compare the total with the broker cost calculator, check overnight charges with the swap calculator, and see what one pip is worth on any pair with the pip calculator.
